Last year, our festival received a prestigious international award EFFE LAUREATE 2017-2018, which was bestowed by the European Festivals Association (EFA) in cooperation with the European Union to 26 best art festivals around Europe. At the same time, our festival became a proud bearer of EFFE Label 2017-2018, a quality label that is awarded to most remarkable European festivals of different art genres that are beneficial to their respective communities but also to the world of art and the entire Europe.

The EFA International Festivals Commission praised our festival’s guidance and highly appreciated the long-term goals it pursues: Bábkarská Bystrica TOUR, Double Impulse is a festival whose ideas and programme have the potential to appeal to audiences from all over the world and all walks of life. It is a very interesting festival whose ideas are followed by concrete actions. The ideas of Bábkarská Bystrica meet all the criteria of the EFFE brand of quality.”

In 2017, EFA highlighted the exceptional artistic quality of last year’s participants, praising them for their meaningful endeavour, realisation of the commitment of their effect on society and the world of art as well as their impact on the regions they operate in.
